What is Silver Cord?
The program is based off of community service, and awards students who have completed a total of at least 150 service hours a silver cord to wear on their robes at graduation in recognition of their huge achievement. The goals of the Silver Cord Program are to encourage students to give back to their community, make volunteering a year round activity for students, and develop responsibility.
